The Hilltop: Handled media relations for the re-opening of the historic restaurant (previously Eden Avenue Grill) following a full renovation and menu update, resulting in 18M local media impressions. Wrote weekly e-newsletter to former and new patrons keeping them engaged and excited during the remodel process. Launched social media presence, developing strategy, creating content and heading community management.


NOLO's Kitchen & The Basement Bar: Led media relations and social media efforts, in addition to developing a media and influencer event for the restaurant/bar pre-opening, which was attended by 70 people and led to a burst of buzz on the Twin Cities food scene. 


Coalition: Develop social media strategy for Facebook and Instagram, plus created a "Farm-to-Fork" brunch event for restaurant fans and social influencers to promote the restaurant's breakfast and brunch menu.


Red Sauce Rebellion: Spearheaded media and influencer relations for the opening of the new restaurant, in addition to creating its brand strategy, logo and social presence. 


GHR Foundation: Produced a 10-minute video telling the story of the global foundation's legacy and recent growth in leadership and governance. Drove a history project to shine a light on the foundation's longstanding relationships with university partners. 


Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union: Facilitated media relations effort to drum up local coverage for a number of announcements and initiatives, such as its parental leave policy, and statewide Plus It Forward Day activities, resulting in 4 TV news segments, 1 radio interview with the company CEO, and several online news mentions.


TreeHouse: Wrote several pieces of material for the non-profit company serving at-risk teens, including its winter newsletter, blog posts, brochure copy and social media posts.

Green Giant: Developed national campaign to refresh the historic brand in a fun, relevant way. Brought the Green Giant to life in Grand Central Station to encourage kids and families to take the pledge to eat one more veggie each day. Partnered with celebrity Alison Sweeney and ran mom blogger program to encourage pledging. Integrated campaign garnered 600K+ media impressions and inspired 64K pledges to eat more vegetables.

Pillsbury: Developed and executed a massive PR and social campaign for the launch of Pillsbury Gluten Free Dough. Partnered with celebrity chef Cat Cora and gluten free expert Dana Korn to create national buzz and spur trial. Results include 237 media stories and 600M impressions in target outlets and 20K+ social actions.

Big G Cereals: Developed and executed two of the brand’s first PR campaigns supporting in-box toys, consisting of media outreach, an influencer program, social influencer partnerships and paid media. The campaign promoting Justice League comic books earned more than 68M gross brand impressions, and the campaign promoting Star Wars character pens generated 30M impressions and earned a Minnesota PRSA Classics Award.

Royal Canin: Led ongoing PR initiatives, including three “Breed-Up” parties in Chicago, Los Angeles and Dallas to promote the brand’s breed-specific dog food and social partnerships with “celebrity pets” Charles Barkley and Smiley the Therapy Dog.

Behr Paint: Led ongoing PR initiatives, including the launch of the brand's annual color forecasting. Planned and executed media event in New York City, inviting top-tier, national house and design editors and bloggers. 


KILZ Primer: Launched Magnolia Homes partnership with Joanna Gaines, a premium interior paint collection, to national media, furniture retailers and consumers—triggering a buzzworthy product launch. Secured a People magazine exclusive, 38 unique stories and 116+ million media impressions.


Chicago 2016 Olympic Committee: Planned and activated local and international communications to support the city’s bid to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games during the three-year process. Served as committee spokesperson, speechwriter and media handler for Olympic athletes and city officials.

P.F. Chang’s: Managed day-to-day PR and social media for national chain restaurant. Managed crisis communications during P.F. Chang’s data security breach, serving as national media spokesperson. Ran PR for the brand’s now-annual Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.
